Removals can be undertaken to and from Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark. Martell's International Removers use pantechnicon removal vehicles that have been specifically designed to operate on the road network in Jersey and Guernsey.

They are constructed within the 7ft 6.5ins (2.3m) vehicle width restriction that applies in Jersey and Guernsey. We are therefore free to travel around the Channel Islands without the requirement of police escorts, and/or special driving permits, which are both costly and time consuming to obtain.

For consignments destined for Alderney or Sark, we can arrange for the items to be transported by shipping container. Upon arrival, our agents will arrange for customs clearance and onward delivery to the residence.

Sometime, properties on the Channel Islands can have awkward or difficult access, and so we can arrange for a 'transhipping' service with the use of a smaller, more suitable removal vehicle at the delivery address.

A full or part-packing service is available prior to loading which ensures that your personal and household effects are transported safely. Martell's also has a strong relationship with a number of trade colleagues who are based in the Channel Islands who can assist with the removal planning is you are moving to the mainland. In addition, we can assist you in the completion of customs documentation, which are necessary as the Channel Islands are not part of the European Union.

For smaller consignments or even single items, we offer a 'part load' service. This means that your effects will be transported along with other clients' items. By doing this, the total costs of moving can be dramatically reduced when compared with dedicated removal services.

Specialist packing materials are available from us should you wish to pack some or all of your effects yourself, prior to shipment.
