Car Transportation - Why?

• Car transportation can be done alongside the removal of your household effects, when moving within the United Kingdom or internationally.

• Return or part-load options are available. We regularly have vehicles all over the United Kingdom. This means that if you can be flexible with collection dates, we can significantly lower the cost of your car transportation. Please contact us to see when we next have a vehicle in your area.

• We can transport more than one car at a time. This can be useful if you have more cars to transport than willing drivers, especially on longer trips or when transporting cars to Europe.

• If you require international car transportation, driving the car yourself simply may not be an option.

• If you are buying or selling a car, we can get it to / from you with the minimum of fuss. For example, you may want to sell your car on Ebay, but your buyer lives hundreds of miles away from you. Why not let us take care of the car transportation for you?

Safety and Security

• Secure car transportation is undertaken in vehicles fitted with tracking devices as standard. This means that if the vehicle transporting your car is moved without the immobiliser first being disabled, the 24 hour monitoring station will immediately be notified. If an illegal move is indeed in progress, they will then contact the Police who have tracking devices in their patrol cars and will swiftly intercept the vehicle.

• Martell's only use experienced crew to load and unload your car.

• When loaded on one of our vehicles, your car will be completely enclosed and will not be open to the elements. We use materials to ensure that the front and rear of the car is protected from bumps and scratches whilst in transit. Furthermore, the sides of your car will be protected by our specialist removal blankets, providing a belt and braces approach.

• Our vehicles are locked overnight, and the crew stays with the vehicle.

• The battery in your car will be disconnected before transportation. This is especially important for long journeys.

• Liability cover is included as standard, although terms and conditions apply. Please ask for full details.

• A pre-condition report is provided before any car transportation takes place.

• For international car transportation and European car transportation, a RoRo (Roll On - Roll Off) service can provide a cheaper option, but your car will not be enclosed throughout its entire journey.

• The Martell's car transportation service is great for antique cars or very expensive prestige vehicles.
